Marie Dorothy Neagle (Howard), 75, of Noblesville, IN, passed away on Wednesday March 27, 2019, after a long battle with breast cancer, with family by her side.
Marie was born on November 1, 1943 in Boston, MA, to Leon T. and Dorothy M. Howard. She was a 1963 graduate of Quincy High School. Marie married her best friend Charlie on May 14, 1966, and together they raised 3 daughters and a son. She moved to Spring Hill, FL, in 1988 and later retired to Noblesville, IN, in 2005.
Marie enjoyed spending time with her friends, her door was always open and the coffee was always fresh. She loved to shop, go on lunch dates, play bingo, have family gatherings, holidays and traveling with her husband, however, her greatest joy in life was being a Nana.
Marie will be greeted in Heaven by her beloved husband Charlie, who passed away just 12 short days before her. She is survived by her children, daughter Patricia (Richard) Copenhaver of Noblesville, IN, son Christopher Neagle of Rutland, MA, daughter Jennifer (Robert) Webster of Noblesville, IN, daughter Elizabeth (Charles) Stapf of Wentzville, MO. Grandchildren CJ, Nick, Michael, Katie, Sarah, Andrew, Alex, Aiden, Samantha, Libby, and Great-granddaughter Arya. Marie is also survived by her brothers James Howard of South Weymouth, MA, and Russell Howard of Tampa, FL. Preceding her in death are her parents, Leon T Howard and Dorothy M Howard of South Weymouth, MA, Brother Michael Howard of Spring Hill, FL, and Paul Howard of South Weymouth, MA.
The family will host a Celebration of Life for both Charlie and Marie on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis. A visitation will be held from 12am to 2pm, with a service at 2pm.
